The Ghostly Gray Cross Country Mountain Bike race will be held Saturday October 25th at the Lutherlyn facilities outside of Butler, Pennsylvania (not too far from Moraine State Park). Start time is 10:00 AM registration starts at 8:30AM. This is the first year for this race and I'm one looking forward to seeing the course. The race will be three laps on a five mile cross country loop.
Entry fee is $20 and the race will benefit the Troop D Camp Cadet youth program.

They will also be holding a 5k walk and 5k run with a children's trick or treat parade at noon.

ReplyDeleteSarcasm is hard to interpret in print form. The race was muddy & a lot of off trail riding, as in follow the pink ribbons through the woods type riding.
ReplyDeleteYes pure sarcasm, I'm a four seasons rider and inclement weather really never keeps from getting out. I had to take a pass on the race I haven't spent a good full weekend with my son since MOM started and being that it's mostly just the weekend he's with me.. so decided to stay home. Sunday I took a cruise with him out at Harrison Hills on his new pre-caliber he got for his birthday. He was really digging it. He loves having a bike with a granny gear.
